Andrea was promoted to Vice President of Consumer Segments & Sourcing for Fresh in March 2010. In this role, she leads Save-A-Lot’s Meat, Seafood and Produce businesses. Andrea joined the Save-A-Lot team in 2008 as Vice President, Consumer and Brand Strategy, leading the company's advertising and marketing, exclusive label packaging and design, consumer research, segmentation and store design.

Prior to joining Save-A-Lot, Andrea managed Own Brand and package development across all categories for Kroger Co. She also held various positions at HEB in Texas and in Mexico in Own Brand product development, brand and package development, and also supported Hispanic marketing. Prior to HEB Andrea held a variety of positions with Procter & Gamble in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. She is bilingual and bicultural having lived, worked and studied in Mexico, Puerto Rico and Spain.

Andrea earned her bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and also studied at the University of Madrid in Spain. Andrea is active in the community and enjoys running, reading and traveling. She resides in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband and three children.
