Larry Tyler joined Save-A-Lot in 2002. In his role as Vice President of Sales Planning, Analytics and In-Store Execution, he is responsible for total sales planning, consumer and promotional data analytics, and implementing overall plans into execution at stores. Prior to this role, Larry was the Vice President of Merchandising for Save-A-Lot.

Prior to joining Save-A-Lot, Larry worked for 15 years at discount chain Grandpa's and Deal$ Nothing Over A Dollar. He started his career at Grandpa's as a senior buyer and subsequently served as Director of Advertising, Merchandise Manager and General Merchandise Manager. In his last seven years at Grandpa's Larry was responsible for the company's import program and relationship-building initiatives with vendors in the Pacific Rim countries as well as South America.

Larry also spent 17 years with Central Hardware Company, a Midwest home center retailer, where he held positions in Administration, Operations and Merchandising. He was Vice President and Director of Merchandise and Sales Promotion when he left to join Grandpa's.

Larry and his wife reside in St. Charles. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
