Earlier this year, Save-A-Lot Food Stores signed on as the primary sponsor for Carl Edwards and the No. 60 Ford for 12 races in the Nationwide Series in 2008.
"The show car has been one of the cornerstones of our program. Not all of our customers can get out to the track to see Carl and his No. 60 Save-A-Lot Ford Fusion, so we are taking it directly to them," said Mark Kotcher, National Marketing Manager for Save-A-Lot.
“I’m proud to represent Save-A-Lot and all their associates. On behalf of the entire No. 60 team I want to thank Save-A-Lot for coming on board with us, we look forward to taking our new sponsor to victory lane in 2008,” said Edwards.
Save-A-Lot president and CEO Bill Shaner echoed Edwards’ excitement saying, “Everyone at Save-A-Lot is excited to partner with Carl Edwards. This new partnership provides another reason for shoppers to discover the great food, great prices, and great people we have to offer.”
