Want a glimpse into the inner workings of our distribution center operation? You’ll gain invaluable on-the-job experience while getting an introduction to our fast-paced, exciting culture by working along side key players on our management team.
During our 10-week paid Distribution Internship Program, you will be exposed to the day-to-day operations of a distribution center. Our comprehensive internship program provides training in areas such as Shipping and Receiving, Auditing, Inventory Control and Quality Assurance, just to name a few of the areas. Additionally, Interns will be required to complete a business analysis project based on real-life challenges Save-A-Lot is facing in its distribution centers.
Internship Structure
- Weekly assignments in various locations to provide insight into how our distribution centers operate
- Hands-on learning overseen by a senior level mentor to ensure a well-rounded learning experience
- Cross-functional departmental exposures
- Interaction with subject matter experts and senior level management to allow greater understanding of our supply chain operations
- Final project and presentation that focuses on a business & productivity development strategy
