Ham Recipes
Apple Spiced Ham Glaze
Make their mouths water with a decadent combination of flavor and spice.
Ingredients
- 1 Sugardale Bone-In Ham
- 1 10 oz. jar of Apple Jelly
- 1 tsp. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp. Apple Pie Spice
Directions
- Heat oven to 325°.
- Lightly score surface of ham, place covered in oven and bake 10-15 minutes per lb. or until internal temperature reaches 130°.
- Combine jelly, lemon juice and apple pie spice in small saucepan. Heat, stirring until jelly melts.
- Uncover ham and spoon glaze over ham during the last 30 minutes of heating time.

Apricot Glazed Ham
Put a refreshing twist on a traditional holiday meal that’s sure to delight.
Ingredients
- 1 Sugardale Bone-In Ham
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Rosemary Leaves
- 1/4 tsp. Thyme Leaves
- 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 Oven Cooking Bag
- 1 TBS. Flour
Apricot Glaze:
- 1 jar-14 oz. Apricot Preserves
- 1/4 cup Light Corn Syrup
- 2 TBS. Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. Dry Mustard
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic, salt, rosemary, thyme and black pepper. Rub onto the ham, coating it completely.
- Spoon the flour into the roasting bag and shake to coat the inside. Unwrap the ham and place cut side down in the bag. Secure the opening with the nylon tie, then place it in a shallow baking dish or roasting pan. Using scissors, cut six 1/2" slits in the top of the bag.
- Roast for 2 hours.
- To prepare the Apricot Glaze: In a small saucepan, combine the glaze ingredients; stir over moderately low heat until the mixture begins to bubble, then simmer for 1 minute.
- Remove the ham from the oven, cut the bag open, and fold down the sides, being careful of steam. Pour the glaze over the ham. Cook uncovered 30 minutes longer.
- Transfer the ham to a large platter and serve with pan juices.

Cherry Cola Baked Ham
Step outside the box and try this surprisingly perfect blend of cherry cola flavor and ham.
Ingredients
- 1 Sugardale Bone-In Ham
- 6-7 cups Cherry Cola Flavored Beverage
- 1 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup Maraschino Cherry Juice
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1 TBS. Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Score ham with a sharp knife in a diamond pattern.
- Place ham in a shallow baking dish or roasting pan.
- Pour cherry cola around ham so that it is 2 inches deep. You may have to add cola depending on the size of your pan.
- Make a foil tent and place over ham.
- Bake 2 hours basting with the cola every 20 minutes.
- Center of ham will read 140° on a thermometer.
- Meanwhile, combine brown sugar, maraschino cherry juice, honey, Dijon mustard and pumpkin pie spice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
- Remove ham from oven (Center of ham will read 140° on a thermometer) and brush with glaze.
- Bake for an additional 35 minutes brushing with glaze every 10 minutes.
