At Save-A-Lot, the safety of our customers is a top priority. Based on information from the FDA and our vendors, the peanut butter for sale in our Save-A-Lot stores is not affected by the recent recall issued by Peanut Corporation of America.

However, out of an abundance of caution and in cooperation with our manufacturers, Kellogg Company and McKee Foods Corporation, Save-A-Lot has voluntarily removed from sale the following items:

• Austin Cheese Crackers with Peanut Butter
• Austin Sandwich Cracker Variety Pack
• Little Debbie ® branded Peanut Butter Cheese Crackers
• Little Debbie ® Peanut Butter Toasty Crackers.
• Save-A-Lot’s exclusive brand of peanut butter, Panner, is NOT involved in this recall. (None of the jars of peanut butter sold at retail stores are involved in the recall).

We will continue to monitor the situation and look to the manufacturer and the FDA for further guidance.
