Last time they were big and delicious. Loved them

PlayGurlParty7, Great Cacapon, WV

This inexpensive, quick, easy and luscious dessert recipe that is sure to dazzle. Core and section one Golden Delicious apple per diner. (peel if you like but no need to) In one tsp. of butter per apple, per person, slowly cook apples in a covered pan. If you have some maple syrup, drizzle a bit on the apples as they finish cooking. Also excellent additions are a bit of cinnamon and/or brown sugar. Key to this recipe is SLOW cooking over low heat in a covered pan. If you wish to make it diabolically delectible, add a splash of real vanilla extract. This is a healthy dessert that is quick and easy and the ideal accompanyment for morning waffles or pancakes or served as a topping on ice cream. My guests RAVE about it (I use all the mentioned ingredients... all from Sav A Lot) and they think I've gone to culinary college.
