What I'd like to know is WHY would you put SUGAR AND CORN SYRUP in Pinto Beans?? Us older folks depend on beans for protein as good meat is VERY expensive. So, why would we want to ADD all this SUGAR to our already depleated diet? I do say, the taste is good and I use them frequently, but having diabetes is awful when you have to read all the ingredients in a can of BEANS!! Ouch...please drop all that sugar. My mom use to make these from scratch, soak, cook hours, etc... NEVER

These were just like any other canned pinto beans, except cheaper! We ate them seasoned with cumin, chili powder, garlic, and paprika-oh and don't forget the cholula hot sauce! Super yummy with burritos or as a side dish!

What did you do to your pinto beans? They are hard!! You have to cook them for a while like dry beans to sofen them up. I use to love them---what happened? Open up a can and try to eat them after heating them for just a few minutes.

I love these beans. They are so versatile. I use them for chili, 3 bean salad, beans and rice and straight out of the can as a side dish. Keep up the good work.
