This is the first store-bought Sweet & Sour Sauce I've found that I like at all, And I really like this sauce a lot! I use it on many things but mostly on my home made egg rolls and lumpia. Prior to finding Portman's Sweet & Sour Sauce I had just about quit buying store-bought sauces. The only reason I decided to try this one was because it cost so little. All together when you combine the low cost and the great taste you just can't go wrong. My only complaint is that I haven't been able to find it in stock the last 3 week I've looked.

I bought this on a whim because I love sweet-n-sour. I made a dish last night that turned out wonderful. I'm impressed with the taste and texture. I could taste the pieces of pineapple. I even recommended it to my mom.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST... No Icky, Bad Preservatives = No Sulfites. Love this Sweet & Sour Sauce. Just a perfect blend and so reasonable in price. I even put it on toasted English Muffins, Toasted Pumpernickel, Sourdough, etc.. And of course, Cooked Brown Rice and Steamed or Sauteed Bok Choy and add it to stir fry's and all sauteed veggies while making them and cooked cabbage, etc. Heck I even use it as a salad dressing over Romaine Lettuce and add a dab to yellow mustard and dip my Save-A-Lot Soft Pretzels in it or use it all by itself for dipping. Experiment with it - I add a a little at a time to all of my homemade soups, all kinds, noodle, veggie, spinach and cream types - just to get the taste I like. I even add it to Matzo Ball soup I buy pre-made. I am a vegetarian, almost Vegan except I still like Save-A-Lot Cheese Pizza and Macaroni Salad and other pre-made items here and there. But my sister also loves this and says it is also great on pork chops, pork shoulder, shredded pulled pork and of course ham; meat balls, chicken and turkey. I would use at least 2 bottles a month maybe 3 = but my Save-A-Lot no longer carry's it and it is a Corporate Store. Boo Hoo. Maybe I can order it here. Will check that out. This is definitely worth paying for shipping and buying a case full - it is that good. TRY IT - If you have never tried this - really, you do not know what you are missing.

I really like this product for my chinese dishes and it costs a lot less. It is the perfect blend of sweet and sour.
