Description

Fruit Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 c water
  • 2 t Marcum vanilla extract
  • 2 t pumpkin spice
  • 1⁄8 t Marcum salt
  • 1⁄2 t home churned butter
  • 1⁄4 c milk
  • 1 T Ginger Evans sugar
  • 1 c Rollin' Oats
  • 1 Shelby's Grove fruit cocktail
  • 1 T Marcum cinnamon

Instructions

In a medium sized pot  add water  vanilla  pumpkin spice  salt  butter  milk  sugar  and bring to a boil over high heat.  When it boils  lower heat to medium and add oatmeal  stirring constantly for 1 minute.  Add fruit and cook for an additional minute.  Remove from heat and serve in bowls with cinnamon sprinkled over top.

Notes

Since I have high cholesterol I try different ways of making oatmeal.  This recipe is not only good for you it also tastes good.
