Ingredients

Directions

Peel, core, slice, and dice apples. In a small frying pan on medium heat put 2 T margarine and add the apples. Cook until soft stiring often with a wooden spoon. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Open cinnamon rolls and lay them out on a clean surface. Unroll the cinnamon roll and lay half of them in the pan length-wise (outside of roll facing bottom of the pan). Place the cooked apples evenly over your rolls that you have in the bread pan. Place remaining rolls on top of cooked apples (be sure to unroll them). Place 3 tablespoons (with your fingers) of margarine over the top. Cook for 16 minutes. Let cool and squeeze icing all over.

Notes

My family loves cinnamon rolls and I'm always trying to make things a little more healthy. You will love this!!!

Needed something to do with extra apples and this was just right! I love apple pie and this is basically an easy way to make it. I added a handful of raisins to the apples when they were cooking, as my mother always put raisins in her cinnamon rolls. This is very quick as you can fix everything while the oven is heating up. Great for desert or with your coffee at breakfast.

My kids love this breakfast!!! We have them often in the fall when we get apples for free from a friend who is a fruit farmer.
