In a large pot, boil water over high heat. (Use just enough water to cover pasta, once you add it to the pot.) When water is boiling, add pasta and reduce heat to medium. Simmer uncovered until water is very shallow (about 10 minutes). Add all other ingredients, reduce to low heat, cover with the lid cracked and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and uncover the pot until the sauce begins to thicken.
