Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Meanwhile, wrap shrimp with a ½ slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Line a baking sheet with heavy-duty foil. Place the shrimp on the rack, and brush BBQ sauce on each one of the bacon shrimp bites. Turn each shrimp bite over, and brush with BBQ sauce on other side as well. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn over halfway through cooking time. When finished cooking, remove from oven, and place each shrimp bite on a paper towel to soak up the grease. Let cool and serve! Note: Be sure and use the large shrimp – the cooking time for the shrimp and bacon is similar, so if you use small shrimp, you risk overcooking the shrimp.
