1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. Beat margarine and sugars until creamy.
3. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat well.
4. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
5. Stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts; mix well.
6. Press dough onto bottom of un-greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
7. Bake 30-35 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely; cut into bars. Store tightly covered.
