Chicken Bake

There are lots of recipes with chicken breast out there, and some are a lot of work for not that much flavor. However, this delicious baked chicken doesn’t require much. It only takes 4 ingredients to make this savory, creamy, hearty chicken bake. Your family will love it so much, they’ll be asking for “chicken bake” by name in no time.

Ingredients

Directions

Partially boil chicken breast, drain. Make stuffing according to box directions. Place 1/2 stuffing in bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan. Then add 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1/2 bag mozzarella cheese. Place drained chicken breasts on top, and cover with rest of the mozzarella cheese, the other can of soup and the rest of the stuffing. Bake at 350ºF for 1/2 hour and serve.

Notes

This chicken bake is a great company meal, and is one of my favorite recipes for chicken breast. It’s hearty and tasty, and feeds a “company” sized group. For beautiful presentation of baked chicken on a plate, just add fresh and colorful vegetables, like broccoli, roasted red potatoes or a side salad, and it will look and taste great.

This recipe is so filling and easy to make. I mix pimintos in with the cream of chicken soup to give it some color. Double the recipe for large gatherings of family or friends.

This was easy and delicious-I added onion and celery to the packaged stuffing, used 3 boxes for a 9x12 and cut 6 breasts in half lengthwise to make the meat go further. YUMMY!
