A simple, budget-friendly ground beef recipe.
Peel, slice and boil 4 potatoes until tender. Drain then set aside. Brown the hamburger in a separate pan on medium high heat. Add the chopped onion, green pepper, salt and pepper. Stir occasionally until the meat is thoroughly browned and the veggies are tender (approximately 8 to 12 minutes). Carefully drain the grease from the mixture, then pour it into a 9x13 casserole dish. Pour the Kaskey’s® Cream of Mushroom soup evenly onto the mixture. Layer sliced potatoes on top of the mushroom soup and hamburger mixture. Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and beginning to brown.
