1. In a 3 quart sauce pot, mix together all ingredients except for Coburn Farms cheese and grits. Bring to a boil.
2. Whisk in grits and reduce to a simmer, stirring frequently, cook for about 5 minutes until mixture has become thick and grits are tender.
3. Remove from heat and whisk in cheese a 1/2 cup at a time. Check the seasoning and adjust if needed. Serve and enjoy.
Try with any of your other favorite Coburn Farms cheeses.
