Turn oven to 425 degrees-bake tator tots 18-20 minutes Boil water-cook mac & cheese as normal Boil water- cook hot dogs as normal-drain & slice Remove tator tots from oven-dump in cake pan or deep baking dish-spread around. Add the sliced hot dogs-spread around. Next, pour the mac & cheese evenly around it. Flatten it all even then put shredded cheese on, about 2 cups over it and put in oven about 5 minutes to melt.

One night I was going to make hot dogs and mac & cheese. I realized I was out of bread and buns. I realized I had tator tots so I was just thinking of an idea to make a meal so I just did this. First of all my family thought I was nuts, but they all liked it and ate the whole pan. Now it is a request in my house of 5.

This was wonderful! My kids loved this recipe. I doubled the recipe for our large family. I did use save-a-lot's sliced, precooked ham instead of hotdogs. I just cut it up in bite-size pieces. Yum!
