Lazy Man's Lasagna Recipe

Searching online for a lasagna recipe might give you the impression that you have to slave away in the kitchen for hours. Not anymore! Easy lasagna is not an urban legend. This simple lasagna is truthfully named — anyone can make this “lazy man’s” lasagna recipe, any day of the week.

Ingredients

Directions

Boil noodles according to directions. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain the grease. Add the spaghetti sauce and cottage cheese to the cooked meat and mix well. Layer noodles, sauce mix and remaining cheese into an 8X12 cake pan or casserole dish, repeating layers until all fillings have been used, and ending with a layer of cheese on top. (There may be noodles left.) Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until cheese on top is fully melted. Serve with garlic bread and salad for a complete meal.

Notes

I love lasagna and tried to find a quick and easy lasagna recipe on the internet. I could not find one, so I decided to create my own by combining steps. I always feed 6 to 8 people, so I needed something fast and easy.

I do this same thing except I cook onions in with the hamburger when I am browning it. Sometimes Ill use ricotta and cottage cheese at the same time too. It is very delicious and easy.

I've been making lasagna like this for about 30yrs now & I do have to say it is the best & it is faster than real Italian anything, It all takes sooooo long to cook. I find regular lasagna tooooo dry because the cheese & I'm not to fond of the texture or the taste either, small curd cottage cheese is the way to go.
