Macaroni and Cheese with Tuna Casserole

Prepare the mac&cheese dinner according to directions on the box, adding the margarine, milk and the cheese packet (which came in the box) to the pasta after it is cooked. The instant way to make this meal is to heat the peas, tuna and soup in the microwave while the pasta is cooking. Add the soup mixture to pasta/cheese mixture and pour into casserole dish. Sprinkle fresh or stale bread crumbs or crushed potato chips over the top and bake until hot throughout or for 25 - 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

I found this was a good way to use stale potato chips no longer very tasty if eaten alone. It is also an exellent way to see that children eat a green vegetable. Best of all, it was a fast meal at the end of my busy work day when I had a hungry family waiting at home. This is honestly a meal in itself and both adults and children enjoy it. For a more complete dinner, serve with a tossed salad, Texas Garlic toast and your favorite drink.

Delicious! Stays creamy because of the cream of mushroom soup.
