1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine taco seasoning, hamburger and egg. Mix thoroughly with clean hands.
3. Mold about 2 tbs. of meat into firm meatballs. Place on a greased baking sheet.
4. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until meat is browned. Remove meatballs from oven, and place a half-slice of cheese on each until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
