1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in the flour.
2. Pour in the milk and stir until the mixture thickens. Stirring constantly, mix in the cheese and salt.
3. Continue to cook and stir until the cheese has melted and all ingredients are well blended for about 15 minutes
