An easy, tangy sauce turns juicy spareribs into a beautiful, tropical, mouth-watering dish.
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
Cut between every third rib, about halfway through the strip, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in a shallow roasting pan and bake at 425ºF for 1 hour. Carefully pour off fat.
While ribs are roasting, mix remaining ingredients in medium bowl and let stand.
After the ribs have baked for 1 hour, pour the fruit mixture over the ribs. Reduce the oven temperature to 375ºF and bake for 30 to 40 more minutes, basting frequently.
Excellent served over white rice.
