• We limit our assortment and carry only the items you purchase most.  We carry a complete selection of products but only the most popular varieties and sizes.
• We have almost 1200 stores nationwide and can keep our costs low.  That's a lot of buying power!  We have stores in more than 40 states from coast-to-coast and border to border... from Maine to California, and Florida to the Pacific Northwest.
• We focus on what we do best!  We don't have extras like sushi bars and floral departments those "other guys" have.  We'd rather pass along those savings to you.
• Our brands are exclusive to Save-A-Lot!  We don't advertise nationally, allowing us to keep our costs low.
• Customers bagging their own groceries means less employees at the store, and lower prices.
• We order, ship, and sell products out of custom cartons, making those items easier to find and available at a lower cost.
