HOW TO MAKE CARAMEL APPLES

1 Use Tart, Firm Apples

Granny Smith apples are the classic choice.

2 Remove Wax

Scrub apples clean and use a fine grit sandpaper to roughen the skin.

3 Popsicle Sticks

Remove the stem and insert a popsicle stick for easy dipping and decorating.

4 Chill Apples

Begin making the caramel while the apples chill.

5 Prepare Caramel

Use our homemade caramel apple recipe.

6 Coat in Caramel

Dip and spin apple in caramel, place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and chill until caramel is hard.

7 Chocolate & Toppings

Dip apples in melted chocolate, add toppings and chill the apples again.

8 Storing Apples

Caramel apples will keep for a week unrefrigerated or two weeks refrigerated.
